GTA 6 insiders suggest the possible month for Trailer 2 release
It’s been over a year since Rockstar Games unveiled the first trailer for GTA 6 (Grand Theft Auto VI). Since then, the wait for new details has been lengthy, but it looks like the second trailer is just around the corner!
According to insiders, when can GTA 6 Trailer 2 be released?
According to the GTA VI O’Clock podcast, which shared exclusive details in its first newsletter, reliable sources indicate that Rockstar plans to release GTA 6 Trailer 2 in April 2025.
If this turns out to be true, we may finally get more concrete information about the game, including the official release date, new mechanics, and even more details about the protagonists, Jason and Lucia.
Moreover, GTA VI O’Clock analyzed Rockstar Games’ marketing pattern in previous releases, such as GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, and noticed an interesting detail:
- GTA 5 – First trailer in November 2011 | Second trailer in November 2012 (almost a year later)
- RDR2 – First trailer in October 2016 | Second trailer in September 2017 (almost a year later)
Similarly, if GTA VI follows the same schedule, April 2025 would be the ideal time for Rockstar to release the second trailer, as the game is still expected to launch in October or November 2025.
Furthermore, releasing this trailer just before Take-Two’s shareholder meeting in May would make sense, as the company could leverage the impact of Trailer 2 to boost its stock and further fuel the game’s hype.
If the rumors are true, the second trailer could be just a few weeks away. In short, with GTA 6 set to launch in fall 2025, Rockstar needs to kick off a new wave of marketing to maintain the excitement and confirm the official release date.
