We've ensured that the award-winning suite of accessibility options from Part II returns for the PS5 experience, accompanied by new features such as Descriptive Audio and Speech to Vibrations. The latter utilizes the DualSense controller to convey character speech and cadence. The popular Speedrun Mode, originally introduced in The Last of Us Part I, is also making its way to Part II Remastered, allowing players to compete for the best times. Building on the legacy of The Last of Us Part I, the Remastered version offers the opportunity to unlock bonus skins for Ellie, Abby, and their weapons, providing players with fresh options for Photo Mode shots. A glimpse of these features is showcased in our announcement trailer.

In addition to these enhancements, Photo Mode has been enriched with familiar elements for players of The Last of Us Part I, such as dynamic lighting, Frame Forward, and Gaze Direction, along with new frame and logo choices.

We're thrilled to bring The Last of Us Part II to the PlayStation 5 as the definitive way to experience the sequel. This release not only allows fans to rediscover the game but also offers new and returning players a deeper appreciation for the meticulous work invested in its creation. Preorders open on December 5 for both the standard edition and The Last of Us Part II Remastered W.L.F. Edition. The latter, exclusively available directly from PlayStation in select markets, including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Benelux, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Austria, features a SteelBook® display case, four enamel pins, a Washington Liberation Front Patch, and a collection of 47 Society of Champions trading cards, including eight holographic cards. These cards, beloved by Part II players for in-game collection, are now brought to life in this special edition. Take a look below to explore the contents.
